Sequoyah Award Reservations

The Oklahoma Library Association's Sequoyah Book Award Author Celebration will be held during the Annual Conference on April 23, 2018 at the Hyatt Regency Tulsa Hotel in Tulsa. For the first time all three winning authors will be present: Lois Ruby (The Doll Graveyard), Kwame Alexander (The Crossover) and Ryan Graudin (Wolf by Wolf). The Supervisors, Managers and Administrators Roundtable's spring workshop, "How to Survive and Thrive: Tips and Tricks for New Managers", will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at the Moore Public Library. You'll want to register today if you are a new manager, an existing manager or someone who is interested in moving to a leadership position. At this workshop you will learn about leadership principles, emotional intelligence characteristics and how to understand different personality styles, dealing with difficult employees and patrons, and how to give and receive feedback.
